When I was in the 3rd grade I was a "safety" responsible for monitoring the behavior of my fellow students in the schoolyard. I could give "citations" for kids breaking the "rules".One day the lunch bell rang and 2 kids were mid-swing high up in the air. "The bell rang", I said and gave them each a "citation" when they landed.
Needless to say I wasn't very popular with my peers. (who thought this system up anyway?)
