The other day I mentioned in my blog I'd seen a beautiful red bird but didn't know what it was. Yesterday at Kartchner Caverns I saw another and in the Discovery Center finally found a book and discovered the bird's name. I also learned the male Vermilion Flycatcher spends 90% of its time perched on one thing or another.The female Flycatcher can't resist him! And neither can I.

Hmm, sounds like some of the guys that hang out at the local bar. Except better looking.
